Just wanted to take a second to advise anyone who plans on visiting a certain mouse themed amusement park in Orlando about a few things. ....they shall remain nameless, because I'm sure from my experience that they're litigious. DON'T STAY IN THE RESORTS ON THE PROPERTY. The staff is rude and incompetent. The maid busted into my room THREE TIMES without knocking and then sent the housekeeping manager over to eject me from my room. Why? Because they made a mistake with my reservation. So, instead of sleeping in and leisurely viewing the attractions, then leaving the following morning.... I was given the option to leave the room within thirty minutes or be charged for an extra night that I couldn't spend on the property regardless. They refused to give me information at the front desk about availability of other rooms, told me I was basically out of luck because they had already booked the room I was in, wouldn't honor the discounted rate I had initially booked at, and written off. I will never spend any money, as long as I live, at any of their on property resorts. If you plan on visiting... ESPECIALLY if you intend to have a good time.... stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites, Kissimmee, FL. They are two miles from all the attractions, in a reasonably safe area, and not only was the room drastically nicer than the on property resort.... It was only 42 freaking dollars a night after I used Booking.com to reserve it. Just F.Y.I., my Butthole Legion. Carry on.
